The New York Giants 2011 NFL regular season schedule has been released.

We are ready to get the regular season under way! The Giants will have their hands full this year for certain. At first glance, I am thinking to myself that the G-Men have to have one of the hardest schedules in 2011. The second half of the schedule is simply tough and full of playoff caliber teams. The Giants will need to dig deep to make it back to the playoffs.

The schedule is going to be particularly brutal on the road but Big Blue did get a nice week seven “bye week” which is a relief. The fact that the Giants get an extra home game this season, since the Giants play at the Jets at the MetLife stadium this year, makes it all balance out in the end. The Giants also have four night games this season with three of them coming late in the season. The G-Men have been lucky about getting night games and have been getting a lot more of them in recent years. The fans love night games.
