NEW YORK – The strength of the pack is the wolf. This is a very old military term that explains how the strength of a unit, depends upon the strength of each individual within the unit. The military and the NFL have many similarities to them and are often compared in analogies. Teams of men go to war on the field of battle and all of that. The other side of that coin concerns results and what derives from those results. Does the act of winning release endorphins in the brain that elevate the man to an omnipotent experience with the universe? I’m not sure because I’ve never played football at the professional level but this topic certainly deserves further investigation.
What brings a player to a personal state of Zen? Does it occur during the NFL Draft when they hear their name called? Perhaps, when a player arrives at minicamp or training camp and they see their name on a locker or jersey? Is it that first preseason game or regular season game when the ball is snapped? Is it the development process or working out and practicing? Is it getting voted into the Pro Bowl? Or does it simply and only come from winning a Super Bowl? I have just mentioned a bunch of tremendous “moments” in a players career but I’m not sure if any of them pinpoint the exact moment when Zen is reached. The only one that makes sense would be winning the Super Bowl but even then, is it that moment when the stage in on the fifty yard line and the trophy is hoisted up or is at the moment when the last second ticks off the clock? It could even be further down the road when a player finally receives his Super Bowl ring. Who knows?
It’s hard to separate the money players make from their achievements on the field because one dictates the other. The famous basketball coach Phil Jackson introduced Zen to his players and they seemed to turn out alright. He created a culture that was less about money and more about state of mind and won championships. Perhaps, it is more of a constant state of Zen, then any actual moment that occurs and then leaves. I’m not sure about that theory though. I do not see how a football player can be in a constant state of Zen when their very job is to cause violence. It would seem more likely to me that they reach that euphoric state from reflecting on winning and what they have accomplished on the field of battle. I don’t know how someone can feel at perfect peace and bliss with the world, when a 265 pound man is trying to rip your head off. I guess the only people on earth who truly know the answer to these questions are the players themselves. How many of them have separated ego from true happiness can be debated but I’m hopeful at least one player has taken their mind and game to the ultimate level.

NEW YORK – I envy the final two teams standing tall after a rough season. The Green Bay Packers will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV and their fans must be having a blast! It doesn’t feel like it’s been four years since the Giants won Super Bowl XLII but it has been. The Packers beat the Bears to advance while the Steelers finally shut up the talkative Jets. All four of these teams deserve some respect for making it as far as they did during the 2010 NFL season. We must also congratulate the Packers and Steelers for getting to the big game and we wish them both luck.
The NFL Pro Bowl will be played next weekend in Hawaii, since NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, changed the game format to have the Pro Bowl played before the marquee Super Bowl. With the collective bargaining agreement looming in the wings, football fans may want to sit back and really enjoy these final two games of the season. Things could be a lot different come the beginning of the 2011 NFL season. I know it will be hard to watch the Pro Bowl with its lack of meaning but just try and enjoy it if you can.
I have to admit that I am gloating internally a bit because I picked the Green Bay Packers to win it all this year. They haven’t completed my prediction yet but they are in the Super Bowl and one win way from being the NFL Champions. I expect this Super Bowl to be a throw back of the classic days of football. Both of these teams match up very well and I truly expect it to be a battle. I’m not sure if it will be a shoot out or a defensive game yet. All signs point to a low scoring defensive battle but things could very easily go the other way with these two outstanding offenses. As I mentioned, I will be rooting for the Packers and the NFC to take the Lombardi trophy home.
The Super Bowl will be played on February 6, 2011 at 6:30 PM EST in Cowboys stadium.

NEW YORK – Fans of the New York Giants were not ready to give up NFL football last weekend, when they were eliminated from the playoffs for the second year in a row. I have been hearing and reading the chatter all over the internet from the bummed out fans hating the offseason. You had all the evidence you could need, if you checked out twitter or Giants.com yesterday during the playoffs and read all of the depressed Giants fans comments.
Well, I’m here to tell the fans to keep their heads up and to focus on the offseason possibilities. When the fans can finally put the 2010 NFL Season behind them, they can then see that the team has some fun work to do in researching and scouting new talent that the team could bring in to help out.
I don’t want to mislead you into thinking that I am not disappointed over the 2010 NFL season because I am. But I truly believe that the fans cannot let it effect how they feel about the team or interfere with their regular lives. I hope that the fans remember to stay true to Big Blue and that they can remain respectful and classy in their comments. You have to realize that the players, coaches and their families read those comments. It’s bad enough when the players and fans have to deal with rival fans moronic comments but it must be particularly hurtful to hear nasty comments from their own fans. Anyone who cheers for the team when they are winning and boo’s the team when they are losing are known as fair weather fans. Stay classy New York and let’s also remember that kids read these articles and comments too.
Also, after the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Green Bay Packers yesterday, all of the NFC East teams are officially out of the running for a Super Bowl title. However, my prediction about the Packers winning the Super Bowl this year is still very much alive. I would love to hear what some of the fans think about this subject. NEW YORK – As if the past two weeks of embarrassing losses weren’t enough, Giants fans now receive the news that star WR Hakeem Nicks and pro bowl C Shaun O’Hara will not play in the season finale against the Redskins Sunday. This is bad. I don’t have to emphasize how important those two players are to the New York offense. It’s bad enough that WR Steve Smith is out for the year, along with other key players (14 on IR list at last count) but now with WR Hakeem Nicks being held out, the team will be playing with 3rd, 4th and 5th string WR’s in a must win division game. Punt returner Will Blackmon was also placed on the injured reserve list.
I have been shaking my head at the Giants for weeks now, unable to accept what I have been seeing on the field and cringing at the reality of losing more key players. It’s a simple scenario that needs to happen on Sunday, the Giants need to win and the Packers need to lose to the Bears. Can the Giants come through with the win and honor their end of the bargain or will they collapse under the pressure, as they have done for the past two weeks against the Eagles and Packers? Granted there were some strange situations to contend with the past two weeks with the foul weather effecting the teams travel plans. The most recent case, the G-Men being stranded in Green Bay for two days (the team returned home on Tuesday afternoon) following the Sunday game.
There was some good news to come out of the Giants camp this week. DT Barry Cofield won the “good guy” award, something I think this man deserves. I was one of the most vocal writers out here to voice my displeasure in the fact that Cofield’s name come up during trade talks before the season began. Cofield is a big part of the Giants defense and any deal that would send him to another team would be foolish. I see you Barry!
I have to take Big Blue in the victory over the Redskins on Sunday. If the Giants lose to Washington, I would have to throw my arms up to the whole season. This is absolutely, one hundred percent, a game the Giants should win and if they don’t, I am going to be extremely disappointed. The Giants should literally blow out the Redskins, even though we have some key players injured and missing the game. The G-Men are still ranked in the top six for both offense (3) and defense (6). They need to win this game for the fans, for themselves and for the honor of the Giants organization.

NEW YORK – Giants fans can finally put the loss to the Eagles last week behind them because today’s game against the Packers had playoff implications. I have to admit that I am truly not over that loss yet but I will not dwell on it here today. The Giants faced an extremely tough Green Bay Packers team today and had to come out with a win to go back to the playoffs. Most of our readers know that I had picked the Packers to win the Super Bowl before the 2010 NFL season began, so I was nervous but not worried. The Packers won 45-17 in another embarrassing loss for the G-Men.
The 1st quarter of play was a nightmare for Giants fans. The Packers took a quick 14-0 lead and looked like they could move the ball at will. The Giants could not seem to do anything against them offensively or defensively. Then things began to turn around in the 2nd quarter with a nice fumble recovery by Justin Tuck and a couple of New York touchdowns that tied things up at 14-14. One touchdown pass from Manning to Manningham went for 85 yards, the longest of QB Eli Manning’s career. Manning hit the 30 touchdown mark tonight for the first time since Y.A. Tittle did it for Big Blue back in the day. The Packers were ahead 21-14 at halftime.
Things didn’t get much better in the 2nd half, as the Packers continued to move the ball at will against the Giants 2nd ranked defense in the NFL. It became difficult to watch once the 4th quarter rolled around and the Giants playoff dreams were slipping away, as the time quickly ran off the clock. The Giants completely collapsed in the 4th quarter once again. The 6 turnovers and 5 penalties by the Giants were the difference in this game, much as it has been all season. I hate to point a player out but QB Eli Manning has been making some horrible choices lately with throwing the ball. If the Giants miss the playoffs, they have nobody to blame but themselves. It hurts me to say that but it’s true. They had every opportunity to make the post season but did not get the job done today. What else can I say? The Eagles clinch the NFC East with the Giants loss today as well.
Let’s take a look at some of my notes from today’s game.
– QB Eli Manning had a poor game and has been making some bizarre choices with the ball lately. He finished with 301 yards 2 TD’s and 4 INT’s.
– WR Hakeem Nicks continues to impress whenever he is on the field. He finished with 93 yards and 1 TD.
– RB Brandon Jacobs had a few good runs and a key fumble. He finished with 47 yards 0 TD’s and 1 fumble.
– DE Justin Tuck had a great game and a key fumble recovery in the 2nd quarter. He also had the only sack.
– WR Mario Manningham had a big day and finished with 132 yards and 1 TD.
– S Kenny Phillips led all defensive tacklers and was all over the place today. He had a solid game.
– RB Ahmad Bradshaw had a rare bad day and a key fumble. He finished with 31 rushing yards and 41 receiving yards 0 TD’s and 1 fumble.
– CB Aaron Ross got his wish and was returning punts for Big Blue today.
– TE Kevin Boss had a couple of key dropped passes in the first half and a failed fumble recovery in the second half. He finished with 0 yards.
– S Antrel Rolle had a key forced fumble in the 2nd quarter and had a good game overall.
– DE Jason Pierre-Paul was injured and left the game in the first half. He eventually returned later in the game.
– K Lawrence Tynes has been great for Big Blue this season and made all of his extra point attempts (2) and lone FG attempt tonight.
– P Matt Dodge had a better day then last Sunday but fans are still not sold on him.
– The Giants defense seemed a bit sluggish in this game for some reason. They finished with 1 sack and 1 forced fumble.
– The Giants offensive line was terrific once again and continue to be the anchor of the offense. The did however give up a sack.
– The Giants special teams continues to need work but they had a better game then last week.
– Head Coach Tom Coughlin should not be worried about his job. The media needs to relax with all of that trash talk.
– DC Perry Fewell puts together some great schemes and plays. However, he had his hands full tonight.
– OC Kevin Gilbride is still a hot and cold play caller. It’s hard to feel confident in him when you see some of the plays he calls.
– Special Teams Coach Tom Quinn should be on his way out at the end of the season and I’m not sure it’s all his fault.
– The Giants lost the time of possession battle horribly by a time difference of 37:01 to 22:59.
– The Giants were stranded in Green Bay due to bad weather back east. This is the second time in 2 weeks that the team has been stranded.

NEW YORK – The second contest between the Giants and Eagles this year had become the most anticipated game of the season for both teams. Once the playoff picture and divisional championship picture became clear, it was obvious that this game was going to decide the future of both clubs in the NFC East. The Giants simply dominated the Eagles for the first three quarters of the game and then became undone in the fourth quarter. This was not a very enjoyable game to watch for Giants fans, as Big Blue lost by a score of 38-31 on a punt return by DeSean Jackson with 12 seconds left in the game. The Eagles improve their record to 10-4 and take sole possession of first place in the NFC East, as the Giants fall to 9-5. There were a lot of fights during this game as well. It seemed like there were players locked up with each other after every single play. I almost got physically sick after watching this embarrassing loss.
The Giants were dealt some bad news this week after losing star WR Steve Smith for the rest of the season. Fans were concerned that this would have a negative impact on the Eagles game but the Giants took care of business in that department. The Giants have placed at least 14 players on the season ending injured reserve list. These are star players that I’m talking about in most cases and not just reserve backup players. The G-Men have been devastated by these injuries for the past two years and I’m not sure how they continue to compete at this high level. I guess we need to give GM Jerry Reese credit for making Big Blue a deep team, something that I do with pleasure because Mr. Reese is a genius and I’m glad he is working with the Giants.
The G-men gave fans a scare in the fourth quarter by letting the Eagles get back into the game with a couple of late TD’s. They needed to close the game out strong but were not able to do it. It was much more nerve racking to watch on TV, then it sounds here in words, when the Eagles tied the game up 31-31 with 76 seconds remaining in the game. I was literally pacing around the room for the remainder of the fourth quarter. I found myself on the floor when punter Matt Dodge punted the ball straight to DeSean Jackson, who proceeded to run the ball back for a TD, with zero time on the clock and giving the Eagles the win. My jaw dropped and I could not believe what I had just saw. If the Giants miss the playoffs this season it is their own fault. It’s really horrible that they lost this game today and it will be something that could take years to get over, if ever.
The Giants travel to Wisconsin next weekend to face the Green Bay Packers at 4:15 PM EST in a game that should prove to be a great one with playoff implications.
Let’s take a look at some of my notes from the game.
– QB Eli Manning had a good game today and controlled the offense most of the game. He finished with 289 yards 4 TD’s and 1 INT.
– RB Ahmad Bradshaw contributed on some key plays and finished with 66 yards.
– WR Mario Manningham was thought to have an injury today but had a great day. He finished with 113 yards and 2 TD’s.
– WR Hakeem Nicks continued to roll since his return and finished with 63 yards and 1 TD.
– RB Brandon Jacobs got involved in the offense today and finished with 34 yards.
– TE Kevin Boss had a few nice catches and finished with 59 yards and 1 TD.
– WR Derek Hagan got into the game and made a few catches. He finished with 36 yards.
– DE Justin Tuck played like a madman today and gets my game ball. He led all defensive tacklers and finished with 1.5 sacks.
– S Antrel Rolle continues to show why he was the most important addition to the team in recent years.
– DE Osi Umenyiora had more of an impact on the game then the stats show with some play disruptions.
– K Lawrence Tynes continues to have a solid season by making all of his FG attempts (1) and extra point attempts (4).
– DE Dave Tollefson left the game with a knee injury and did not return.
– P Matt Dodge had a decent game but is still an inconsistent punter by NFL standards. The kid made a horrible punt to DeSean Jackson at the end of the game that was returned for a TD.
– The Giants offensive line was shaky in the first quarter but then returned to form to close out the game. They gave up 2 sacks.
– The Giants defense was all over the field today. They are playing like the second ranked defense that they are. They finished with 3 sacks, 1 INT and 1 forced fumble.
– The Giants special teams continues to be the biggest disappointment of the 2010 season. Today was horrible because they gave up an on-side kick possession and punt return for a TD.
– DC Perry Fewell has done a masterful job in containing QB Michael Vick in both divisional games with the Eagles this year.

NEW YORK – What a weekend for the Giants! In one of the most bizarre situations in recent memory, the Giants faced the Vikings last night in Detroit for a re-scheduled game due to a severe blizzard in Minnesota that caused the Metrodome roof to collapse. If you haven’t seen the video of that roof collapsing, I suggest you do a search for it because it was crazy. The Giants beat the Vikings 21-3 at Ford Field among Lions fans who were given free tickets to the game.
It was a game that had fans up in arms over the fact that the game wasn’t aired on TV in national markets. Some FOX markets showed a message pre-game that said “Due to blackout restrictions rules with ESPN, the game cannot be aired tonight” followed by an apology to the fans. This is disgusting and something the NFL needs to take a long hard look at. The other Monday Night football game on ESPN last night was the Ravens vs. Texans. I cannot remember there ever being two Monday Night football games on at the same time, that was a first for me. Why the football fans had to suffer under these extremely unusual circumstances is beyond me. Have we really become so thoughtless in society, that TV stations are more concerned about the amount of eyes watching their commercials, then they are about the people who pay their salaries with viewership? Last night was a unique situation and should have been handled differently. How about letting FOX stream the game LIVE on their internet website? Something. Anything. But the only thing that happened was, Nothing.
The Giants beat the Vikings in a historical game for both of the starting QB’s. QB Eli Manning had his 100th consecutive start, while QB Brett Favre had his consecutive starts streak end at 297 by a shoulder injury. Easy Eli has the second longest consecutive starts streak in the NFL, he only trails big brother Peyton. It is incredible that the No.1 and No.2 men on the Iron Man list are brothers.
The G-Men were no doubt mentally exhausted from all of the drama over the weekend, so I applaud the team for not complaining about it and going out to do work. They were a little rusty in the first quarter but then turned it on by scoring two TD’s in the second quarter. The 9-4 Giants are on a three game winning streak and face the hated Philadelphia Eagles this weekend at New Meadowlands stadium in a a battle for NFC East supremacy. The game starts at 1 PM EST and should be the game of the week, if both teams play like their seasons depend on a victory (which they do).
Let’s take a look at some of my notes from the game.
– QB Eli Manning had a mediocre game and finished with 187 yards 1 TD 2 INT’s.
– RB Brandon Jacobs had a great game and ran hard all night. He finished with 116 yards and 1 TD.
– TE Kevin Boss was making plays and finished with 23 yards and 1 TD.
– WR Hakeem Nicks returned to the field and made his presence known. He finished with 96 yards.
– S Antrel Rolle led all defensive tacklers last night and continues to be a vocal leader on defense.
– RB Ahmad Bradshaw continues to play like a man possessed. He finished with 103 yards and 1 TD.
– WR Steve Smith saw some action on the field after missing a few weeks and finished with 12 yards. He left the game with a injury.
– WR Mario Manningham left the game early with an injury and did not return. He finished with 1 yard.
– The Giants defense smothered the Vikings all night and knocked out their 6th QB of the year. They finished with 4 sacks and 1 INT.
– DE Justin Tuck had a decent game but got banged up and played hurt the rest of the game.
– LB Clint Sintim was injured in the second quarter and did not return. It looks like a torn ACL and the IR list for Sintim.
– DE Osi Umenyiora attacked the QB all night and finished with 1 sack.
– DE Jason Pierre-Paul was active for a good portion of the game and continues to improve.
– The Giants offensive line gave up only 1 sack last night, the first in the last six games. These guys are awesome.
– The Giants special teams was atrocious once again and their see-saw season continues.
– K Lawrence Tynes made all 3 of his extra point attempts and had no FG attempts.
– P Matt Dodge should receive a one way ticket to palookaville at the end of the season.
– WR Derek Hagan finished the game with 10 yards.
– DC Perry Fewell is the most significant pick up for Big Blue since Coach Spags. He is a beast.
– OC Kevin Gilbride needs to shake things up a bit and stop with the conservative play calling.

NEW YORK – The Giants have had an up and down month. They lost two games they should have won to division rivals Dallas and Philadelphia, then turned things around and won their last two games against the Jaguars and Redskins. It is hard to measure how good New York is at this point in the season but if last week was any measurement, they are ready for the playoffs right now. Playoffs? We’re talking about playoffs? I sure am. The Giants are 8-4 and tied for first place (with the Eagles) in the NFC East with week 14 approaching. If there was ever a good time to start talking about the playoffs, it would be this week.
I fully expect the Giants to invade Minnesota on Sunday and come out with the win. I have said repeatedly that the G-Men will need to win half of their remaining four games in order to have a good shot at making it back to the post season with a 10-6 record. This is a very realistic possibility considering the remaining four games which are the Vikings, Eagles, Packers and Redskins. The obvious two games the Giants should win out of these four are the Vikings and Redskins. But I fully expect them to give the Eagles another tough game after losing to them a couple of weeks ago. The Packers are the toughest team out of the the four and they were my pick to make the Super Bowl prior to the 2010 NFL Season. They have been on a roll as of late and should be a very tough opponent.
But one thing at a time here. Big Blue will need to focus on beating the Vikings this weekend, the Vikes are having a rough season and seem hungry to finish their season strong. They still have Adrian Peterson, a banged up Brett Favre and a fully rested Sydney Rice, who had a monster game last week. Their defense is respectable and they will be playing at home. The Giants are still missing key offensive players, who could return within the next week or two and should help their playoff run. Let’s not forget, the numbers don’t lie. The Giants have the No.2 overall defense in the NFL and the No.4 overall offense. You don’t get that type of balance as a team unless you have a deep team and well coached players. The Giants achilles heel so far this season has been their special teams corps. If the special teams can catch up with the offense and defense, then this would be a Super Bowl contender no doubt.
The Giants game plan for the remainder of the season is simple. Play smart football and stop turning the ball over, keep the penalties to a minimum, keep the play calling aggressive on both sides of the ball and simply stay healthy and have fun. If the Giants can do these things, they will absolutely find themselves beating the Vikings on Sunday and making it back to the playoffs. I predict a Giants victory over the Vikings by the score of 28-20.

NEW YORK – Hey there all you Giants’ fans! Long time no see! It feels great to be back writing for what I truly believe is the best underdog blog that covers the New York Football Giants! So anyways, jumping right into things I thought I might talk about what is to become of this roller coaster ride we are calling the 2010 campaign.
No, no, no not the politics (voting day two days ago fyi) politics are great if you have insomnia or enjoy headaches haha. Important stuff, just not my cup of tea.
The Giants have been at it for 8 weeks now, 7 games and a bye week. They’ve looked great, awful, okay, and spectacular. If we put their season marking all the high and low points on a graph we could probably out design any roller coaster genius at Six Flags! But in all seriousness folks they finally look like they have everything under control and we can only hope for a smooth ride back to the loading dock.
Perry Fewell seems to have really gotten things going and the defense has never looked better. They haven’t played this well since Super Bowl 42 and all signs seem to be positive. The recent addition of DE Alex Hall from waivers combined with a healthy Keith Bulluck should do nicely to cover the whole Kiwinikua leaves behind, and Jason Pierre-Paul should get a few more looks as well.
Tom Coughlin praised JPP this week for drawing consistent double teams on special teams coverage which is an encouraging sign of his progress. The Dez Bryant return was unfortunate, but they are starting to get things together. Even Matt Dodge has been able to dodge a few critics recently (sorry had to do it) and punted a few good ones in a row now.
It is truly amazing how when things go right everything really starts to mesh. Ahmad Bradshaw is tearing up the field and all of a sudden Brandon Jacobs has 5 touchdowns in the last 4 games. The running game has looked solid and Madison Hedgecock is close to being back from an injured hamstring.
There has been some discouraging news as of late, Shaun O’Hara, center, is out again with another foot injury. OL Adam Koets played nicely in his absence before and I’d expect the same if Shaun is to miss anytime now. Also, the Giants have about ten players on the injured reserved list at this point. The newest of which being Bruce Johnson who is done with a knee injury.
Now that we have seen how the Giants have played and how the rest of the league has played lets take a look at some new predictions for the season. I would just like to note that despite the one surprise loss to the Titans I made some pretty good predictions at the beginning of the seasons and well…Toot Toot! (that’s the sound of my own horn haha).
So quickly here are my updated picks: Win at Seattle, Roll over Dallas, Lose at Philly, Stuff MJD in at home, Take one on the chin from the Skins, Beat a badly coached Vikings team, Take back some pride against Philly round 2, upset the Packers in a game that has home field implication, and roll over the Redskins gaining playoff momentum.
Overall, I see Big Blue headed to 12-4 and a first or second seat in the playoffs! This is contingent upon a few things however, staying healthy is number one right now, a close second is getting special teams in order (I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, Tom Quinn has got to go), and Eli has got to cut down on the turnovers (I strongly believe that at least 6 are not his fault, but he needs to sit his guys down and talk out what to do to improve). If the Giants can maintain their current path then there are great things ahead for this group!

The New York Giants, looking to increase their first winning streak in a year, face the NFL’s punching bag of the last few seasons, the Detroit Lions (1-4), at home in the new Meadowlands Stadium. Easy matchup, one might think. That is where a mistake can be made. As I said, this is a trap game.
The Lions, although having only one win in the season, have more fight in them than meets the eye. Just looking at the games this season, out of the 4 losses, it is very easy to see that those games were not decided until the very end.
In the season opener against Chicago, a blown call nullified a Calvin Johnson touchdown that would most likely assure the win for Detroit.
Then you move on to analyze the Eagles game, and the story continues. The Lions scored a touchdown with 1:55 left, made the two-point conversion, putting the game at 35-32, then on the ensuing kickoff they recovered an onside kick. They were not able to capitalize on that, but again the game was decided on the final seconds.
Against Green Bay, a team that is supposed to be one of the finest in the NFC, once again Detroit was able to push the game until the fourth quarter, the final score being 28-26. These three games could have easily gone either way, and Detroit could be, say, a 3-2 team, just like our beloved Giants.
With that in mind, it is paramount to stay focused and duly prepare for this game. As it is said quite frequently in this organization, “every game is important“. The way the Giants have been playing is impressive and inspiring, however, paraphrasing Antrel Rolle, it is always better to win three in a row than two in a row.

NEW YORK – The strength of the pack is the wolf. This is a very old military term that explains how the strength of a unit, depends upon the strength of each individual within the unit. The military and the NFL have many similarities to them and are often compared in analogies. Teams of men go to war on the field of battle and all of that. The other side of that coin concerns results and what derives from those results. Does the act of winning release endorphins in the brain that elevate the man to an omnipotent experience with the universe? I’m not sure because I’ve never played football at the professional level but this topic certainly deserves further investigation.
