Super Bowl XLVI Weekend Finally Arrives For NFL Fans

February 3, 2012

NEW YORK – The media coverage for this Super Bowl has been good and by that I mean, NFL fans have been saturated with everything New York Giants for days now. It has been a lot of fun watching the interviews and press conferences. The Giants seem calm and focused and I really believe they are going to win another ring on Sunday (Giants win 38-27). I guess this would be as good a time as any to say “Thank God it’s Friday” and the weekend officially begins tonight. I am ready to get this game started because with the bye week in between, it seems like it has taken forever to arrive. Have no fear my fellow fans, Super Bowl weekend has arrived!

Fans who were able to check out the NFL Experience this year probably attended the best one ever. They continue to add things to that wonderful part of the Super Bowl entertainment activities for fans. I have attended 2 NFL Experiences (Miami, Tampa Bay) in my life so far and they were both a lot of fun. I highly recommend this for Dads and Sons and Uncles and the guys to attend and enjoy. They have lots of cool football activities for the kids and tons of video games and history areas to look at including the Lombardi trophy itself and all of the Super Bowl rings ever won thus far. There are also players all over the place with autograph booths set up and an event schedule that tells you who will be where and when.

Everyone keeps talking about how playing in Indy helps the Giants out but I think it might actually help the Patriots out more. Think about this for a minute, who has played more games there and feels more comfortable? It has to be the Patriots and with any other team that might make the Patriots look favorable but this is the ‘Road Warrior’ New York Giants where none of that applies. The Giants are simply awesome on the road (hence the Road Warriors nickname) and relish being called underdogs. So in a strange way, the worst thing you can do to them is compliment them. There is nothing that is going to rattle this team and the players will need to manage each other and stay cool until the game is over. Once the game is over, you can celebrate for a month if you want. Win the ring before you plan parties or talk about partying. Life comes down to a few moments and this is one of them. The fans are all in, are you?

Who has the edge playing at Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis?

12/3/11 Christmas DAC Day 3, Justin Tuck Football Camp

December 3, 2011

NEW YORK – Hello Giants Fans, would you like to meet Justin Tuck and get some valuable football knowledge from the man himself? I might be able to help you out with that. I have a very cool opportunity for some of you Giants fans out there. I’m sure that most of our readers saw the article I wrote about a week ago concerning Justin Tuck’s ProCamp football camp for kids. It looks like they are doing something special for the holidays and offering some upgrades at a reduced price. I think this is an excellent chance for parents to treat their kids to a once in a lifetime opportunity.

All of the information is available on their website Justin Tuck including schedule and pricing.

I remember getting to meet the New York Giants at Giants stadium for some trip we took as kids while playing local football. I was in the 8th or 9th grade in school but it still feels like yesterday. Tis’ the season to be jolly and I’m getting this for my Godson as a stocking stuffer. He is really into sports and will love this. Please remember, the dates have not yet been determined. You will be notified of the camp dates, which will be in 2012. If it happens to rain on one of the days you’re attending camp, all kids and parents will be brought to a nearby indoor facility and they will hold camp there. There will also be a camp store for snacks, drinks and merchandise nearby. You can pre-order a ‘camp bracelet’ for the kids which is basically a lunch bracelet for an additional $10. The bracelet includes 2 sports drinks, lunch and 1 snack, each day. The price for the 2-day camp itself is $149 per kid, which is basically dinner and a movie these days for couples with children.

Welcome to DAC Day 3!

Coming Soon! Kids Can Join NYG Justin Tuck at ProCamps

November 14, 2011

NEW YORK – Giants Pro Bowl DE Justin Tuck will be holding his ‘Old Spice Justin Tuck Football Camp’ in Mahwah, New Jersey. The dates have yet to be determined but more info on that will follow. The camp is held for kids ages 7-14. It is an all day unique experience that comes with a few goodies. The kids should truly have a great time and walk away with some valuable football knowledge. The cost is $149.00 per kid, which isn’t too bad for a two day camp with a Giants Pro Bowl defensive end. Campers will be placed on teams according to their age. Kids will be at different stations doing physical skills, drills and plays.

Tri-state area kids have a chance at attending a Justin Tuck camp locally and leaving with some parting gifts. If it happens to rain on that day, kids will be taken to a nearby indoor facility. The rest of what kids get for attending is a camp t-shirt, autographed team photo, seven hours of instruction, prizes and gifts and a great experience hanging out with Justin. Jim Stoll is the program director and in charge of running camps for many pro athletes.

There are a few suggestions I have for the Justin Tuck ProCamp, check this out Justin. I would include an individual photo with Justin, in addition to the team photo autographed. A photo with the parents paying for the camp would be nice to. From what I know of Justin, he probably already does most of this already but just doesn’t list it. I would set up a weight bench and have Justin demonstrate his NFL strength to the kids. Showing them proper workout technique, workout safety and importance of not pushing it too hard, too early. Also add a loose curriculum of the days activities on his page for parents to browse.

I sent a 10 question interview to the ProCamps coordinator to get to Justin, he will be our first defensive player interview ever, after two offensive players in a row, Rodney Hampton Interview 4/2/11, nygreporter Edition 0002, Steve Smith Interview 3/6/11, nygreporter Edition 0001. A true Thanksgiving present indeed. Get back to us Justin!

I hope all of our readers will check this out or pass it along to a true blue Giants fan. You can also see a video when you visit the link to Justin Tucks ProCamp site.

SIDE NOTE: There haven’t been any available dates released yet for Justin Tuck ProCamps. Be sure to come back and check for more information as updates are confirmed about available dates!
